New Look!

I went to the $2.50 salon near my family home which has since increased its price to $3.50 to cut my fringe. In a spur of moment, I did this...

What do you think?

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I've got a new look for my blog too. Christmas is round the corner and it has started to snow on my blog! The snow flakes would change their direction in accordance with your mouse movement.

Ok... I've got a confession to make... I LIED.

*sheepish smile*

I didn't cut my hair short. Those were all my layers brought forward and the longer parts hidden from view.

I would cut such hair when I'm 30+ trying to look 18. I promise when I'm 30+, I won't lie about this anymore. =)

  3. You look great, babe!

I am at this length too. But I had to blow inwards EVERYDAY because otherwise the ends will Qiao. I feel so sian + lazy until I feel like curling my hair for CNY.

  4. You look good in this length! Is it difficult to maintain at the ends?

  7. Rick,

Aww... Thank you! You're so sweet. It helps that my country has a mixture of high-end and affordable neighbourhood salon services. It also helps that my neighbourhood is having a price war among the salons. =)

  8. citrella,

Blowing and styling of hair that length is one of the reasons stopping me from cutting it. I guess I would rebond or do a body perm that curves inwards should I cut this length. Hope it doesn't get too frustrating for you!

  9. Anon,

Sorry, I didn't cut my hair like this so I can't tell you honestly. I guess it would be difficult to maintain for my hair texture should I cut such length as I think it would curl outward.

Hey did you notice it only snows when you scroll to the top of the page? =DDD and the snow actually rests on the frame and melts away after a few seconds... damn that is some cool quality snow there XD

    Frances,

I won't look good if I really cut it coz it might curl outward and I would feel very frustrated trying to blow and style it sleek.

Haha yes, I notice the snow flakes lying at the bottom of the screem (just like sitting on a window ledge) and slowly bouncing off and melting.

The snow works differently on the different times I open the browser to my blog. All the pictures have to be loaded first before I could see snow falling. The snow would fall in the opposite direction to the movement of my mouse. When I move the mouse almost horizontally to the sides, it would fall sideways more heavily and when I bring the mouse down, it would float down lightly. Once I scroll the page down, the snow would freeze in streaks.

As I'm typing this, I'm using my hubby's laptop and the snow continues to fall even when I scroll but they don't respond to my mouse movement. =(
