Girls with the Dragon Tattoo

One tipsy night in xtina's house some few months back, the bimbo sisters decided that our theme for halloween this year would be "The Girls with the Dragon Tattoo".

The theme befits the year 2012 which is the dragon year in the Chinese calendar. It is also a pun on the movie "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".

Now, we've to conjure ideas on how to make it more halloween.

  1. Perhaps each sister could be a different type of girl with a dragon tattoo. One could be a bride, one could be an assassin (although some guys might think those were the same things--bada bing! ;P), etc. Are all of he sisters married?

  7. Rick,

    The base theme of dragon tattoo linking all of us is a fabulous idea though I'm not too sure what the rest think. I've got a rough idea of what I want but I do not know how feasible it is. Let's see if I can surprise you!

    RaeAbigail,

    Wahahahahahaha... I could not help laughing. Those girls are me and my besties! And those tattoos are fake. They are tattoo sleeves which one of them got from Hong Kong.

    I love tattoos but not huge colourful ones. My parents are fine with tattoos but my hubby says it's a no-no.

    Tessa,

    Are you doing Halloween this year? Gosh! That's one of my favourite events of the year and this time is rather rushed. I hope you dress up so I can see what you would morph into this Halloween.

    TDDH,

    I'm thinking of having short hair for this look. Wig of course! And yep... spikey or those pointy downwards kind. Thanx for the input!

    Marlene,

    Thanx dear. I would always have fun with this group of old friends. We sure hope we deliver the scares too!

    HariRari,

    I haven't watched or read both but I'm determined to watch the movie!

  8. Yay! I'm looking forward to whatever you decide to do. I asked about the sisters because I was thinking how lucky the hubbies (and future hubbies) are to join such a wonderful family.

  9. Rick! I realised I didn't reply your question. Sorry! It wasn't on purpose. From reading my blog for some time, I'm sure you know who is who right? Xtina (bottom left corner) is married.

  11. -what's the new blogger interface? the way you design one? I haven't made a blog post in a month so I was still using the old style. I tried the new one and couldn't figure out how to put anything up... that might truly be the end of brutal turtle :S

    thank you for your July 21st blog comment =D Yep it has been that long.
    -make sure you got sleeping dogs for your husband, it turned out to be a great video game and I'm almost finished it. He will laugh at the cantonese swearing for sure.

    -you and i are the only ppl who dislike boiling hot drinks, everybody else cant stand mild/warm stuff in their mouth.

  12. I hope you have been well jolene. I've had to put up with this crazy bitch coworker who insults me and gives me attitude all the time, it's toiling with my emotions a lot. But can't give up gotta keep trying. I'd tell you to "dress warmly because it's getting cold" as it is in canada right now, but it never gets that cold in singapore does it. HE HE.

    Hope you are well.

  18. Turtle!

    Is Jo’s blog Turtle’s favourite blog? Oh gee... *shies*

    I like artistic tattoos in monochrome. I do not like big colourful ones. My parents are fine with me getting but my hubby says no no.

    I used to love English, American kinda breakfast food. However, recently I find certain food too eggy rich. I could never finish an Egg Benedict’s now.

    I meant the new blogger admin page. It’s too white and clean but not in a pleasant way. I’m still getting used to it. At least for now I managed to fix the html problem during posting. I realised I was able to tick certain functions beside the box to craft the post.

    Noooooooo... Brutal Turtle cannot self-destruct in this manner! Your fans would be upset.

    The 21st July comment was so long ago that I even forgot about the game being in Cantonese.

    I hope you are putting up well with your crazy bitch colleague. Sounds like you need lots of inner peace.

    Michelle Jiafang,

    Thank you. It’s always nice to see newcomers around. =)

    ~~~
    Kim,
    I watched the movie only recently. The English version starring Daniel Craig. It is a great show!
    ~~~

    Nic Nic,

    We are hoping to add some Halloween into this theme by splashing some blood and wounds perhaps?

    ~~~
    Jessille,
    Thank you. It’s always nice to see newcomers around. =)
    ~~~

    Izzy,

    I’m glad you are one of those dainty girls who like tattoos too! I love monochrome artistic kind. Not the full coloured ones but these fake ones are totally fine with me.
