Merry Christmas!

A young man named John received a parrot named 'Chief ' as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity.

John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot.

The parrot yelled back.

John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.

John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.

Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.

The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said,

"I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued,

"May I ask what the turkey did?"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

  4. Hi anon up there.

Do you know the writer of that blog? I read the comments made by the person who included my link in her comments. I've to say that the person isn't me.

Firstly, I don't even know of the existence of the above blog. The person who posted the comment was speaking in a 3rd person's point of view so I dun get if she was trying to be me or she is simply a reader of my blog or anyone I know.

I seldom post comments on blogs of people whom I dunno and even if I do post comments on blogger, I would sign in as my user profile to post so people would know who I am. I don't link my main blog url to my name on blogger comments page.

Hope this clarifies things up. Thanx for pasting the link here for me or I would never have known about this matter.

I would have to delete the above comment with the url though, as I do not want to incur unnecessary trouble.

If you know the blog author, please ask her to delete that comment with my url.

BTW... Isn't "From Singapore" saying that the blog author, Jen, is beautiful? She was definitely not referring to me if I read that sentence correctly. If you're the same anon on her blog, you've certainly misunderstood "From Singapore" and me in the process of this whole issue.

    To "From Singapore",

I'm not angry with you as I know you meant no harm.

I hope you were writing in 3rd person and hadn't meant to be posting as me. You must be a reader of my blog to know about my halloween make up.

It's perfectly alright to share some make up tips. I don't mind you pasting my link on that page but I would appreciate if your name isn't a hotlink to my blog as people may misunderstand that I'm the one writing that.

    Peace everyone =)

  7. Dear Jolene,

I'm "From Singapore" in Jen's blog. I'm really sorry for causing some trouble when I input your blog link as my ID. I didnt mean to be posing as you. I have explained things on that website and I hope nobody misunderstand. Please go to the website to read what I told the anonymous.

I think it will be good if you reply to that anonymous on that blog page too. I'm afraid he or she won't get to read your explanation here.

I'm really sorry for all the trouble. I only wanted to share some make up tips.

    Sincerely,
    Mandy

  8. Hi dorries,

My buddy's roast chicken was quite good. I never really like to eat roast chicken coz I find the meat rather dry. Whisk's chicken was tender and juicy. Thumbs up for that. However, it took a long time to arive though. I was almost finishing when her food came.

Mine was a recommended dish in 8 Days. 1st bite was good but subsequent bite got diminishing marginal utility. Hehe...

The carrot cake was not fantastic even though it looked delicious.

They have to polish up their service. They were nice and friendly but not very experienced. It could be due to the fact that it's newly opened.

Let me know when you try it. =)

    Cya around.

  9. Hi Mandy,

No worries about it. I think that anonymous on the site seriously misintepreted your words and indirectly misunderstand me.

I don't think I would reply on that site unless there is another reply from anon. He/ she seems to have realised his/ her blunder. Everything should be fine. =)

I love reading sincere comments and hearing your voice. While blatant self promotion of blogs and follow for follow requests are not advisable, I would love if you leave a mark here with a trackback link so that I could connect with you. I reply to comments here or on your blog so don't forget to check back on replies! =)
