Random ramblings

I wish I could throw all work aside and go for a break. However, before I could even throw any work aside, more work was thrown at me.

I’m already struggling to finish my primary English materials, now that cyn has left the co to pursue her dreams, I’m left to take over her kindergarten materials.

How to handle all the tasks at once? I’m not sure. I’m handling quite fine for now but as the weeks go on, I can’t say for sure. I’m able to manage fine now cos I’ve sacrificed…

SLEEP
3-6 hours of sleep every night. I can’t sleep in peace too. I must go to bed only when I’m very exhausted before I can sleep well. Because of the lack of quality sleep, I feel really lethargic in the day.

TV time
For someone who doesn’t watch much TV, I’ve stopped watching the only drama serial I catch every week – Heroes On Starworld -- for the past 3 weeks. Now, I can’t catch the plot.

Shopping
It’s the Great Singapore Sale period and I only shopped for 1 day for the whole of June. Even on days when I met kh, it would just be dinner. By the time we finished eating, most shops had closed. I must buy all the things I wanna buy before the GST hike in July. Cannot procrastinate anymore. Time… I need time. Can I buy time?

Family and Friends
I behave like a complete toot to my family. I’ll be sitting at the table and marking my worksheets. Whoever who talks to me will be greeted with my dazed look and a nod of head to acknowledge their presence. Don’t expect me to be listening to whatever they are saying coz by then, I would have switched to auto pilot and mark mark mark. Nobody at home really bothers me as talking to Simba would elicit more human response than talking to me.

Meeting with friends who have not met up for months and even years haven been pushed back till the cows came home, went out to the fields to graze and came home again.

Surfing and blogging
I log on only to check my mails. Oh and also Yahoo auctions. Hehz… That’s a bit of a life for a no lifer like me. I need to blog to relieve some inner stress. It’s therapeutic. But now, I can’t find the time to blog coz whatever free time was used to do my work. However, I will try as much as possible to update myself on my friends by reading their blogs.

Being myself
I think I’m losing a little of myself bit by bit. But I still behave like a bimbo.

For now, whenever it seems like all is wearying, I’ll just tell myself… Hey! There are people out there who are much worse… Working from Monday to Sunday… reporting for work at 8am and not leaving the office till 3am. There are people out there who are much worse… getting even lesser sleep every night and having no time to even switch on the tv. There are people out there who are much worse… don’t have any family to bother them with and don’t have any friends to keep. There are people out there who are much worse… for they do not even know themselves, much less lose themselves.

I would also try to appreciate simple pleasures in life (like how I finally had the luxury to catch SHREK 3 after A MONTH since its release). Only then, I would find that my life isn’t all that bad after all.

Anyone has more information on brain scan?

My headache and vomitting spells have gotten worse. It used to be only headache and feeling nauseous but now, the pain is so bad that Panadol Extra cant cure it and I do not even down Panadol frequently to get immuned to it. The nausea has been replaced by actual puking. Happened 4 times within a period of one month. Recently when I visited a relief doctor, he asked, "Have you ever thought of going for those scans? I was shocked coz my family doctor and the doctor downstairs always allude these to stress, lack of sleep etc. I need more 1st hand information on these scans. Thanx in advance! =)

Please upload all the photos taken on raine’s wedding onto Multiply soon. I wanna blog about so many things that night. Now that I found out ALMOST ALL of you at the same table still read my blog (albeit silently and still can laugh for being so silent), there is no excuse for you all to say you didn’t see this. A few days ago, I met Sam, my friend cum financial advisor and she really is EVIL!

“I’m going to the States! Is there anything I can get for you?”

“Abercrombie! But maybe not,” I stopped short.

Although tempted, my angel reasoned with my devil that I could get it cheaper here and not to forget that my tutee’s mum might give me free A&F stuff every now and then.

Oblivious of my inner struggles, Sam continued, “I’ve got a list of orders from COACH. Why don’t you go home and surf coach.com and let me know again?”

Surf coach.com I did. I went home with fingers willing my mind and went click click click.

Their patchwork designs greeted me once I clicked “handbags” and my heart went fluttering at the sight of all the pretty lovelies.

Love this patchwork satchel but the “$458” lying innocuously under crossed it out of my list immediately. And that isn’t even in Yusof dollars!



Focus, focus. I’m looking out for either a casual hobo bag or a pouch-like mini bag (not as mini as my current demi pouch) which is formal enough for functions.

Ever since I’ve changed my hp and switched back to using my old camera, these could not fit into my demi pouch anymore, together with my sms line and wallet of course.

I either need to buy a bigger handbag to accommodate all my knick knacks or buy a slimmer camera. Maybe I could just do both. *winks*

These are what I’ve short listed: the more affordable ones.

Which little devil should I choose? I sort of like the 1st one most. Reminds me of a cow which produces cocolate milk.


Or should I get a hobo bag?

Absolutely love their multi-colour hamptons weekend. So colourful and cheery but the brown classic seems to be a more sound choice.

Should I choose both a small handbag and a hobo? But then again, Sam said no guarantees. I hope that whatever I want would be sold out and I can use the money and top up loads more to buy these…





LV is getting more and more common, but I like these timeless classics.

I must not get carried away. I asked kh for opinions and he said he is fine with anything as long as I don't let him know how much I will be spending. Such constructive comments.

Have you ever heard of rebonded curls?

Anyway, look at what my rebonded hair has become. The day I decided not to blow dry my broom hair straight, I got this...


Nowadays, whenever people ask, “I thought you rebonded your hair?”

I would reply with, “I THOUGHT I rebonded my hair!”

Any of you with perming and rebonding experience reading this, can share your views please?

I’ve asked people around me with permed and subsequently rebonded hair if it is normal for rebonded hair to curl due to previous perming and they all said “no”. They could not figure out what had happened but all said that my curls were nice because they look so natural. I’m beginning to like this style but hey, I've spent $$ on getting my hair straight ok? Something has to be done! I'll definitely NOT go for another rebonding.
