MACY,
"Gre...Thanx all for your comments!

~~~
MACY,
"Great trip here?" as in you live in Malaysia?!
~~~

Rick,
The rail wasn't replaced by the MRT. Our MRT here means Mass Rapid Transit which is just like the subways, tubes and metros. Though we like to term MRT as "trains" at times.

The railway train featured in this post dates back our British colonial era. It was for passengers and goods.

Yes, I remember you had a railway tracks behind your house or something.

Haha... no way! You are much nicer. Really!

I'm still blowing my nose and having phlegmy voice but a lot better. Thanx for asking!Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03809710184123691858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-85989927403565602692012-01-07T05:14:35.350+08:002012-01-07T05:14:35.350+08:00Are you feeling better???Are you feeling better???Ricademushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347446705678305814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-38774243194008549092012-01-07T05:13:09.210+08:002012-01-07T05:13:09.210+08:00Are the trains being replaced by the MRT? Is the ...Are the trains being replaced by the MRT? Is the MRT a subway or light rail type of transit system? I don't like seeing traditions. The train cars still seem to be in good shape. This is a little sad.

The train that went past my house (and school) only had coal and freight cars, no passengers--except when one of us jumped on as it went by. =) My grandfather could catch a passenger train at a nearby station--it was walking distance. But that station is now a museum and the train does not stop there anymore. There was also a "trolley" system that went into the city, but it was completely disassembled and I'v enever seen pictures of it.

Thanks for sharing the great pictures and your experience.

PS - You're nicer than I am. I get really annoyed when I get somewhere first and then someone blocks me.Ricademushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347446705678305814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-9570611138596780222012-01-07T03:11:20.500+08:002012-01-07T03:11:20.500+08:00I love the dress you are wearing and the scenic ph...I love the dress you are wearing and the scenic photos bring back so many memories :)

katattack2000.wordpress.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-88942136501643739552012-01-06T13:19:56.942+08:002012-01-06T13:19:56.942+08:00i've never tried to ride a train and i wanna e...i've never tried to ride a train and i wanna experience it badly! you seem to have a great trip here. and oh i love the way you post your photos, wonderful!MACYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03295530308441838213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-80091379249097449502012-01-06T08:32:50.430+08:002012-01-06T08:32:50.430+08:00Nice clicks...love the color and countryside like ...Nice clicks...love the color and countryside like this..V2https://www.blogger.com/profile/11195001169234597640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7392001.post-87555149271417457402012-01-06T05:50:43.909+08:002012-01-06T05:50:43.909+08:00Loved the pics!
